My Adventure + Updates

Hey y, all.

Sorry to have been MIA for a while
Been busy with work and adventuring!

The hubby and I were in Wisconsin for work, and on our days off, we went out and explored the town.

The best part of it all was snowboarding for the first time in our life.

I have a few pictures I’ll share below.

I fell on my ass here and decided to sit a while. Lol
Hubby helping me get geared up.

We had no prior experience, no training, or any idea (at all) of what the heck to do, and I know for sure we looked like idiots, but after a while, we finally got the hang of it. We had so much fun, and I cannot wait to go again soon! I am so proud of us for teaching ourselves too. Like, who needs a training class? (Really though, we should have taken a class.) πŸ˜‚ All we did was sit around and watch everyone else until we figured it out.

I love that it’s our new fun thing we do every year during the wintertime. We even looked up some ski resorts near Texas, and a few are open year-round! It was a blast, memories forever. Busted ass many times, and the next day we both were completely sore all over, worth it though 100%.

I have also been thinking about changing up my blog a bit. Possibly a bunch. I want to do layout changes, and I want to change the entire point of my blog.

When I first started my website. I just wanted to write, but now I have an idea to inspire me to take more risks and help me be more confident in the things I do.
I want my blog to be more about me and my life as I discover my journey.

I think now is the best time as any- to start fresh this new year and start my blog all over again with a new look and feel. It only gets better from here!

Please, hold as I figure it all out, and thank you for being here with me. I’ll see you all soon!

  1. The first time I tried snowboarding, I spent pretty much the entire day on my butt.

  2. Impressive to teach yourself! A friend of mine taught himself both skiing (with some guidance from me) and snowboarding. But he did it on blue runs in the French alps. Not recommended! I later got free snowboarding lessons from him though :).
